Cross Country Splits Up for Pre-Nationals Invitational, Western New England Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard cross country splits up this weekend as part of the team will travel to Madison, Wisconsin for the Pre-Nationals Invitational while others will compete at the Western New England Invitational in Springfield. 

At Pre-Nationals, the women will run the six-kilometer course at 10 a.m. and the men will compete on the eight-kilometer at 11:30 a.m. The race will be adjacent to the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison. At the Western New England Invitational, the women will compete at 10:30 a.m. with the men following at 11:15 a.m.

What to Know

  • The Crimson last competed at the Pre-Nationals Invitational in 2016
  • Kieran Tuntivate is coming off an impressive performance at the Roy Griak Invitational, winning the men's race and crossing the finish line at 24:33.4.
  • Sophomores Abbe Goldstein and Hugo Milner have finished in the top five in both races they have competed in this season.
