CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore Matthew Pereira led the Crimson with a time of 25:20 at Franklin Park during the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
Pereira led a trio of men competing in the eight-kilometer race for Harvard. Following Pereira was sophomores John Fish (26:39) and Mike Kolor (26:47).
Racing for the women was sophomore Lauren Spohn, who crossed the finish line of the five-kilometer course at 20:52.
Harvard Highlights
- Matthew Pereira came within two seconds of his 8k PR, which he ran at the Princeton Invite last season.
- John Fish ran the fastest time of his collegiate career, beating his time of 26:56 from the Princeton Invite.
