  • Ivy League Announces 2018 Fall Academic All-Ivy Selections

    The Ivy League has announced the names of 80 student-athletes – including 10 from Harvard – who have been selected to the 2018 Fall Academic All-Ivy League team.

    this past summer after setting the 5k and 3k Thai national records, I was invited by the Thai national team asking if I wanted to run in the Asian Games. A little background, I am half Thai or as they call it in Thailand, a luk khrueng (directly translated as half child). We moved to Thailand when I was 3 years old and stayed there for most of my early childhood. The Jakarta Palembang Asian Games in Indonesia would be held in late August and racing a hard 10k in the Indonesian summer wouldn’t exactly be “Vanilla.”
  • Lisa Tertsch Finishes 14th at SPAR U-23 European Championships, Helps Germany to First-Place Finish

    Junior Lisa Tertsch competed at the SPAR U-23 European Championships in the Netherlands on Sunday, December 9, finishing in 14th with a time of 21:13. Her finish helped Germany to a U-23 European Championship at the event.

  • Three Finish in Top 100 at NCAA Cross Country Championships

    All three Harvard cross country runners finished in the top 100 at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Madison, Wisconsin, Saturday. Leading the way was junior Kieran Tuntivate, who finished in 47th with a time of 30:06.1 on the 10-kilometer course.
  • Cross Country to Compete at NCAA Championships

    Three members of the Harvard cross country team will make the trip to Madison, Wisconsin to compete in the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championships, Saturday, November 17. Junior Kieran Tuntivate and sophomores Lisa Tertsch and Hugo Milner will be running for the Crimson.
  • Three Qualify for NCAA Championships at Northeast Regional, Women Finish 8th, Men 11th

    On a cold, snowy day in Buffalo Friday, junior Kieran Tuntivate and sophomores Hugo Milner and Lisa Tertsch qualified for the NCAA National Championships. All three also garnered All-Region honors for finishing in the top 25. The women’s team finished in eighth while the men’s team placed 11th.
  • Cross Country Travels to Buffalo for NCAA Northeast Regional

    Harvard cross country is heading west to Buffalo for the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, Friday, November 9th. The meet will be start off with the women’s six-kilometer race at 11 a.m. and will be followed by the men’s 10-kilometer race at 12 p.m.
  • Saretsky Tabbed Ivy League Men’s Co-Coach of the Year, Five Earn All-Ivy Status

    Jason Saretsky, The William W. “Bill” McCurdy Director of Track and Field/Cross Country, has been named the Ivy League Men’s Cross-Country Co-Coach of the Year, as voted by the other Ivy League cross country coaches and announced Tuesday by the Ivy League. 
  • Tuntivate Wins Ivy League Heptagonal Championship, Leads Men to Second, Women in 6th

    A late kick from Kieran Tuntivate helped lead him past teammate Hugo Milner and a pack of Princeton to win the men’s 2018 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship individual title held at the West Windsor Fields today (Oct. 27). 
  • Cross Country Readies for Ivy Heptagonal Championships at Princeton

    Harvard cross country travels to Princeton, New Jersey Saturday to compete in the Ivy League Cross Country Heptagonal Championships, held at the West Windsor Fields. The women’s race will begin at 11 a.m. while the men start at 12 p.m.
  • Cross Country Moving Up in Regional Rankings

    With a strong showing at the Pre-Nationals Invitational, the men’s and women’s cross-country teams are moving up in the USTFCCCA Northeast Regional ranking. The men’s team moved up to six spots into second and the women’s team moved up five spots into fifth.
  • Cross Country Finished 13th, 15th at Pre-Nationals Invitational, Sweeps Western New England Invite

    Cross Country traveled to Madison, Wisconsin for the Pre-Nationals Invitational Saturday, where the men finished in 13th place and the women in 15th. The men’s team was led by sophomore Hugo Milner, who finished the eight-kilometer race in 21st with a time of 24:11.7 while the women were led by junior Lisa Tertsch who crossed the finish line of the six-kilometer race in 20:45.4.
  • Cross Country Splits Up for Pre-Nationals Invitational, Western New England Invitational

    Harvard cross country splits up this weekend as part of the team will travel to Madison, Wisconsin for the Pre-Nationals Invitational while others will compete at the Western New England Invitational in Springfield. 
  • Tuntivate Wins Roy Griak Invitational with Men 3rd, Women 4th

    Junior Kieran Tuntivate (24:33.4) outkicked a pack of three in the closing stages of the men’s eight-kilometer race to win the Merrill Fischbein Gold Race at the Roy Griak Invitational in St. Paul, Minnesota Saturday. 
  • Cross Country Readies for Roy Griak Invitational

    Cross Country travels out of state for the first time this fall for the Roy Griak Invitational in St. Paul, Minnesota on Saturday. The men’s race will begin at 11:10 a.m. and the women’s race will begin at 12:15 p.m. The men will run an eight-kilometer course while the women will run a six-kilometer course.

    Harvard cross country continues its road to Heps with the Battle in Beantown at Franklin Park. The women’s 5k will begin at 3 p.m. and the men’s 8k will begin at 3:45 p.m. 
  • Sophomores Milner, Goldstein Lead the Way at H-Y-P

    Sophomores led the way for the Crimson at H-Y-P as Hugo Milner (18:32.31) and Abbe Goldstein (17:46.51) finish first and fourth, respectively, in a first-place finish for the men’s team and a third-place finish for the Crimson.

    Harvard cross country opens the 2018 season with the annual H-Y-P Meet at Franklin Park. The women’s race will begin at 1:30 p.m., with the men’s race beginning at 2 p.m.

    Senior distance runner Kieran Tuntivate competed in the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, finishing in fourth place with a time of 30:29.04.

    In the spring, the Ivy League and ESPN agreed to a long-term relationship to showcase Ivy League events through a variety of ESPN platforms. This includes coverage for all 42 Harvard varsity programs on ESPN linear networks and ESPN+. 
  • Track and Field Welcomes 26 Freshmen

    Jason Saretsky, The William W. "Bill" McCurdy Director of Track & Field/Cross Country, announced 26 new members in the track and field and cross country class of 2022. The group joins Harvard from 12 states and five countries.
