CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's water polo team has released its 2020 schedule today, December 2. The Crimson will compete in 24 matches during the regular season before heading to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the CWPA Conference Championship, April 24-26.
The Crimson will begin its season at home on Jan. 25 with matches against Villanova and Iona. Harvard will then see action against Whittier and Wagner at Brown during the Bruno Classic on Feb. 2. The following week, the Crimson will face LIU, St. Francis (N.Y.), St. Francis (Pa.) and Wagner at the Bucknell Invite, Feb. 8-9. Harvard will continue its stretch of road games at Princeton with contests against San Diego State, St. Francis (N.Y.) and Wagner, Feb. 15-16.
The Crimson will return home to host the Harvard Invite, March 7-8, participating in matches against LIU, Marist and Cal State East Bay. Harvard then heads out west to California for the Aztec Invite, March 14-15, hosted by San Diego State. At the Aztec Invite, the Crimson will see action against Cal State Northridge, Hawaii, Long Beach State and UC San Diego. At Pomona on March 17, Harvard will face Pomona-Pitzer and Whittier to end its California road trip.
The Crimson opens up CWPA conference play with back-to-back matches at Princeton April 4-5 before closing out the regular season at Brown on April 11 and 18. The CWPA Conference Championship will take place in Ann Arbor, Mich. April 24-26.
