BRDIGEPORT, Pa.- The Collegiate Water Polo Association announced on Tuesday, April 2, senior Kristen Hong Co-Player of the Week for her performance against St. Francis, George Washington and Bucknell over the weekend. This marks Hongs second weekly honor this season and sixth in her career with the Crimson.
During her weekend campaign in aiding the Crimson to three straight victories, the senior tabbed 10 goals, six assists, three designated kick outs and a steal. In the contest against George Washington, just minutes in, Hong hit the 250-career goal milestone in addition to breaking the program's career goal record previously held by Yoshi Andersen '16 (248). The attacker continued to add four more goals following, for a total of 254-career goals.
Hong and her fellow seniors will celebrate senior weekend, April 6-7, when the Crimson hosts St. Francis, George Washington, and Bucknell. Broadcast coverage will air on EPSN+ both days.
