Harvard Athletics Releases 2017 Women’s Water Polo Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.
– Harvard Athletics recently announced the women's water polo schedule for the 2017 season. The Crimson will play five games at Blodgett Pool, including hosting the Harvard Invitational, and will compete in five tournaments plus a seven-game road trip on the West Coast.

The Crimson begins its season at the Bruno Invite hosted by Brown Feb. 4. The following week, Harvard travels to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for the Bison Invite at Bucknell from Feb. 11-12. Harvard is set for two contests at the Bruno Invite and a trio of games at the Bison Invite.

The Crimson returns to action Feb. 25 for a nonconference match at Princeton on ESPNU, before hosting the Harvard Invitational March 3-5. Harvard opens its conference schedule against Princeton on the opening day of the tournament and will be followed by games against UC San Diego, Marist and Wagner over the weekend. All home games and any match in the Harvard Invitational will be broadcast on the Ivy League Digital Network.

Harvard then heads west for its annual road trip in California. The Crimson will travel to seven schools from March 11-18, including to California in game that will be televised on the PAC-12 Network. When it returns, the Crimson will compete in the Mercyhurst Tournament on March 25-26.

Harvard gets back to conference play with three games against Bucknell, George Washington and Michigan at Hartwick on April 8-9. After hosting Brown on April 12, the Crimson finishes conference action at Brown against Hartwick, Indiana and St. Francis (PA).

The Crimson concludes its 2017 campaign at the CWPA Championships on April 28-30 at Indiana.
