BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – For the second time in the five-year history of the award, the Harvard Athletic Communications office has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association's Sports Information Office of the Year.
The award honors the top sports information office at an institution that sponsors both men's and women's water polo. Harvard last claimed the award in 2013. The only other schools to win the award are Princeton (2012), Brown (2014) and George Washington (2015).
Harvard's water polo coverage for the 2015-16 academic year was headed up by Meg Kelly. Kelly, the primary contact for a total of seven of Harvard's sports last year, completed her successful year-long internship with the Crimson in early June. She produced a multitude of content for the Harvard water polo teams under the guidance of assistant director of athletic communications Brock Malone.
