Women’s Water Polo Adds Four Freshmen to Class of 2020

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach Ted Minnis and the women's water polo team are set to welcome four newcomers for the 2016 campaign.

"I am very excited about this incoming class made up of Sofia, Lana, Julie, and Mathilde," said Minnis. "These four young women are going to help us build on the foundation we have set this year.  They each bring talent and experience to a team that won 24 games this year. They are sure to make an immediate impact in the pool and in the Harvard community."

The four incoming freshmen will join a Harvard team that enjoyed one of its most successful seasons yet, finishing the year at 24-10, recording the first back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in program history. The Crimson checked in at No. 13 in the CWPA rankings from March 23 – April 6 for its highest ranking ever, while also marking a program first with nine wins against top-25 teams this season.
