BRIDGEPORT, Pa. - Freshman attacker Kristen Hong has been named the CWPA Division I/II Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league today. 

Hong paced the Harvard attack as it kicked off its nine-game California road trip with a trio of contests at the Aztec Invitational, notching six goals, nine steals and an assist. The Orinda, California native's best performance came against Chapman, tallying her ninth hat trick of the season, while adding a season-high five steals to go with an assist.

Hong becomes Harvard's first freshman to earn Rookie of the Week three times in a season since Ariel Dukes '15 accomplished the feat in 2012.

The Crimson will resume its California swing with a doubleheader in Northridge tomorrow. Harvard open up the day against CSUN at 5:30 p.m. before facing Redlands at 8 p.m. EST.
