Osborne set career highs in goals and steals this weekend (Zach Williamson).
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Junior attacker Zoe Osborne has been named the CWPA Division I/II Co-Player of the Week, as the league announced today. The Okotoks, Alberta native was key in guiding Harvard to a 3-1 weekend at the Bruno Classic, tallying five goals, seven assists and 10 steals.
Osborne was the driving force behind Harvard's 12-11 overtime upset over No. 13 Indiana, tallying a career-high four goals, while dishing out a pair of helpers and adding three steals. The junior helped the Crimson earn its first win over Indiana and downed its highest-ranked opponent in program history. Osborne followed with another career-game with six steals against St. Francis Brooklyn.
The honor marks the second-straight week a member of the Crimson has been recognized by the CWPA, as Kristen Hong garnered Rookie of the Week honors last week.
The Crimson will return to the pool this weekend in Princeton, New Jersey for a trio of games as part of the Princeton Invitational. Harvard will open up play on Saturday against Cal Baptist and Wagner and close out competition Sunday against Villanova.
