A native of Washington, D.C., Jared Goldberg comes to Harvard from Morehead State University where he served as an assistant volleyball coach from 2015-17. With the Eagles, he was in charge of formulating and presenting scouting reports and game plans, coordinating team travel and recruiting.

During his career, Goldberg has served as the assistant director of tournament operations for the Capitol Hill Classic Volleyball Tournament over the past four years, where he organized the scheduling of over 2,500 matches over the course of the three-day tournament featuring over 900 teams.

Goldberg received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi while also serving as a graduate assistant with the Rebels from 2013-15. He earned a bachelor's degree in sport management from Grand Canyon University in 2013, where he also played volleyball.

As a player, Goldberg participated in the 2013 Maccabiah Games, serving as the team captain of the USA men's volleyball team which advanced to the bronze medal match.
