CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's volleyball team is set to wrap up the regular season this weekend with a pair of home games at the Malkin Athletic Center. On Friday, the Crimson will look to upset Princeton and remain in the running for a share of the Ivy title with a 7 p.m. matchup. Then on Saturday, Harvard will celebrate the Class of 2018 prior to its tilt with Penn scheduled for 5 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast on the Ivy League Network.

Current State of the Ivy League
Prior to this weekend's matches, four teams are still in the running for a share of the Ivy League title. Yale and Princeton are tied for first with 9-3 records in Ivy competition and Harvard and Penn are tied for third with 7-5 Ivy records. Both Princeton and Yale would need to drop both matches this weekend for Harvard and Penn to have a shot at the title. That scenario is not entirely out of reach as Harvard has the opportunity to upset Princeton on Friday in Cambridge and Yale will play Cornell and Columbia, a road swing that has tripped up several teams this season.

Last Time Against Princeton
The Harvard women's volleyball team fell for the first time in conference play at Princeton on Saturday night. The Tigers were dominant, taking sets one and two by wide margins but a late rally from Harvard challenged Princeton's grip on the match in set three. The Tigers were able to punch in the final points to end an eight-match win streak for the Crimson.

Last Time Against Penn
In just its third five-set match of the season, the Crimson came out victorious against Penn, preserving its unbeaten Ivy record four matches into the conference slate.

Harvard saw contributors from all over the roster, including Erin McCarthy with 55 assists, Jocelyn Meyer with 18 kills and a .552 hitting percentage, and Grace Roberts Burbank putting down 20 kills, the first Crimson player to do so at that point in the season.

Coach for College
This past summer, sophomore Grace Roberts Burbank traveled to Vietnam and participated in Coach for College, a program where students travel to various countries teaching a variety of classes and sports to children in the area. To view the full feature, click here
