CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Led by a pair of savvy seniors, the 2010 Harvard women's volleyball team showed it could play with just about anyone. A 9-17 overall record and 6-8 Ivy League mark only begins to tell the story of the 2010 season as the Crimson displayed a number of gutsy performances throughout the year. In all, Harvard was 6-2 in matches that went five sets with three of those wins coming on the road.
The class of 2012 was once again recognized by the league as Sandra Lynne Fryhofer, Anne Carroll Ingersoll and Christine Wu all received All-Ivy League accolades. Fryhofer earned a second-team nod, her second-straight league award, while Ingersoll and Wu received honorable mention accolades. Wu also represented the Crimson on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District squad, earning second-team honors as a human evolutionary biology concentrator.
