Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Play at Harvard Fall Classic

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Tennis finished out the Harvard Fall Classic with a number of strong performances on Sunday.  

In the morning session, the Crimson faced off against Dartmouth in four singles and two doubles matches. Mihaela Marculescu, Natasha Gonzalez, Rachel Eason and Sophia Ho all won their singles matches in straight sets. In doubles action, the duo of Jenna Friedel and Gonzalez defeated Dartmouth's Racquel Lyn and Chidimma Okpara, 6-3.

In the afternoon session, Annika Bassey defeated Brown's Peri Sheinin, 6-1, 7-5, to close out the weekend with a win.

The Crimson has a few weeks to prepare for the ITA All-American Championships that will take place on Oct. 5 at the University of Tulsa.
