Women’s Tennis Sends Five to ITA Regional Tournament at Yale

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.– The Harvard women's tennis team is sending five players to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Championships at Yale beginning Thursday for the qualifying singles play.

Juniors Natasha Gonzalez, Jenna Friedel and Irene Lu along with first-year Rachel Lim will be competing in singles play for Harvard. Sophomore Anna Li and Gonzalez will be the lone doubles pairing.

Thursday, Oct. 11

10 a.m. - Qualifying Singles

Friday, Oct. 12 

9 a.m. – Two doubles, one singles

Saturday Oct. 13 

9 a.m. - Two singles

 Sunday Oct. 14

10 a.m. – Two doubles, one singles

Monday Oct. 15

10 a.m. - One or two doubles, one singles

Tuesday Oct. 16

10 a.m. – One double, two singles

  • Anna Li looks to continue her hot play after five wins at the Bulldog Invite. 

Leading the Way
Traci Green, the Sheila Kelly Palandjian Head Coach for Harvard Women's Tennis, enters her 12th season as the second winningest coach in Crimson women's tennis history with a 123-103 record. Last season she guided Harvard to a 14-9 overall record, including a 6-1 Ivy League record.

The full squad is set to return to team action on Oct. 19 at the Harvard Fall Scramble.
