Oosterhout’s Run Comes to an End at the Riviera ITA All-American Qualifying

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Harvard women's tennis senior Erica Oosterhout lost in the final round of the Riviera ITA All-American Championship qualifying tournament. She was defeated in a rigorous 5-7, 6-7 match against No. 40 Petra Granic of the University of Texas. 

On day one of the tournament, Oosterhout won both of her matches. She began the first day with a 7-6 (3), 6-2 upset against No. 47 Caroline Lampl from Stanford. The same day, Oosterhout continued her strong play with a 6-0, 6-2 victory against No. 109 Bianca Mok of the University of Denver.

Oosterhout was the only remaining Ivy League member and student-athlete from the northeast that advanced to the qualifying finals.
