CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis senior Erica Oosterhout is set to compete in the Oracle ITA Masters in Malibu, California beginning on Thursday, Sept. 20 and last through Sunday, Sept. 23.
Oosterhout comes into the tournament ranked No. 67 in the Oracle/ITA preseason singles rankings, the highest in the Ivy League. One of 32 premier athletes to participate, Oosterhout will be the lone representative from the Ivy League.
What To Know
- The Oracle ITA Masters is one of the premier events on the collegiate tennis season. Players are chosen based upon conference representation, similar to the NCAA tournament.
- The tournament is hosted by Pepperdine University and takes place in Malibu, California.
- Last season, Oosterhout earned first team All-Ivy by unanimous selection, finishing the season with 21 singles victories and 17 doubles wins, including winning five of her last six matches.
- Men's and women's singles finals play will be available to a national audience live on ESPN3 on September 23.
