PRINCETON, N.J. – Monica Lin and Annika Ringbom, of the Harvard women's tennis team, have been selected to the All-Ivy League second team as a doubles pair, the league office announced Wednesday.
Lin and Ringblom combined to go 11-9 on the season as a duo, including 3-4 in Ivy League Play, with each victory coming at the top doubles position. In the fall, the tandem recorded a 7-2 record, including a victory at the All-American championships in southern California.
Lin ended the season with a team-high 20 victories in doubles play, tallying a 20-13 overall mark. In singles play, the sophomore went 14-16, including one victory over a nationally-ranked opponent.
Ringblom was second among Crimson student-athletes with 16 doubles victories to post a 16-12 record on the year. A freshman, Ringblom also turned in an 11-11 performance in singles play with three victories in Ivy contests.
Harvard went 7-12 on the season, ending the year with eight student-athletes at .500 or better in singles play and six with a winning record in doubles action. The nine members of the team combined to record 118 victories in singles and 50 in doubles play.
