ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Harvard divers Esther Lawrence and Georgina Milne earned NCAA Championship berths on Monday after their top-5 efforts on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships at Navy's Lejuene Hall.

Lawrence was the Crimson's top performer, finishing in fourth place with a 12-dive (6 preliminary, 6 final) score of 567.05. Milne, meanwhile, came in fifth place with an effort of 553.00. The top five divers earned spots at the national meet to be held in Austin, Texas next week.

Katie Russ just missed out on securing an NCAA berth after she completed the competition in sixth place (549.70). Harvard had four divers place among the top 10, with Morgane Herculano rounding out the quartet in ninth (545.25).

With Lawrence and Milne now set for Austin, Harvard is slated to have four competitors at the national meet after Miki Dahlke and Samantha Shelton earned invitations last week. This marks the first time in at least 10 seasons that the Crimson has had at least two divers advance to the NCAA Championships.

Harvard will now prepare for Tuesday's 1-meter competition, which is set to begin at noon.
