Garnered all-Ivy League second-team accolades in the 200 medley relay after swimming the third leg at the championship meet ... The quartet finished in second place at the conference meet with a school-record time of 1:39.34 ... Completed the year with Harvard's top 200 fly time (1:58.04 - Hall of Fame Invitational) ... Finished the season with the team's second-best 100 fly time (53.60), accomplished at the Ivy meet ... Recorded the team's third-fastest time of the season in the 100 back (55.08) at the Ivy League Championships ... In 2014, Brittany Usinger was a finalist in the 100 fly (A final) and 200 fly (B final) at winter SCY Junior Nationals, and summer LCM Junior nNationals (B and C final). She also was a Santa Clara Arena International Grand Prix 200 IM finalist (C final) and a 200 fly finalist (B final), before placing first in the 100 fly and second in the 200 free at California's North Coast Section championship. Usinger is a three time Academic All-American, a lifetime member of the California Scholarship Federation, and was nominated for the Acalanes Gifted and Talented Education program at her high school. She is interested in studying psychology, reading postmodern literature and traveling.
