- Stephanie Wriede Morawski '92, The Costin Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Swimming & Diving, announced the addition of ten student-athletes from the Class of 2017 for the 2013-14 season. Coming from seven different states and two countries, eight swimming recruits will contribute in the lanes of the pool, while two divers will add on the boards.

"The Class of 2017 is extraordinary in their versatility," said Morawski. "All distances are covered and they will make an immediate impact in the league. We are also fortunate to add two incredible divers to our roster. More importantly, the class is comprised of ten incredibly talented and interesting young women who are ready to fully embrace the Harvard team."

Diving coach Keith Miller added, "We have two excellent divers coming in this fall, with Brittany Wang, from Texas, and Elina Leiviska, from Finland. Brittany finished in seventh place at our Senior National Championships last summer on three meter, and also won both diving events at the Junior Olympic West National Championships in San Antonio this April. Elina has competed internationally throughout Europe and Canada, so she brings a lot of experience to the team and will make an immediate impact in the Ivy League."
