Injury to Hold Otto Out of NCAA Championship Meet

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's swimming sophomore Courtney Otto will not participate in the NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships held in Indianapolis, Ind., March 21-23. Otto has declined the invitation due to an injury.
Otto has been one of the most consistent swimmers for the Crimson since arriving in Cambridge last season. She qualified for the NCAA meet in three events this season, including the nation's 15th-best time in the 200 butterfly (1:56.24). The West Seneca, N.Y., native also qualified in the 200 IM (2:00.31) and the 400 IM (4:10.55).
Otto will begin rehabilitation in preparation for the 2013 Phillips 66 National Championships & World Championship Trials June 25-29 in Indianapolis, Ind.
