Six Women’s Swimmers Earn CSCAA All-America Honorable Mention Accolades
Harvard took second at the ECAC and Ivy League Championships in 2010-11 (Harvard Athletic Communications).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a season that saw the Harvard women's swimming and diving team finish second at the ECAC and Ivy League Championships, six team members received College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Mid-Major All-America Honorable Mention accolades, the organization announced Tuesday. The women's squad finished the 2010-11 season ranked fifth in the Mid-Major rankings.
Seniors Katy Hinkle, Christine Kaufmann and Kate Mills led the sextet of swimmers on the list and junior Meghan Leddy, freshman Sara Li and sophomore Laura Evans also received honorable mention nods. The six swimmers earned a spot on the honorable mention list by attaining NCAA 'B' standards in their events during the 2010-11 season.
