No. 1 Women’s Squash Downs No. 8 Columbia, 8-1

NEW YORK – Harvard women's squash continued to take care of business this weekend, taking down the eighth-ranked Columbia Tigers, 8-1. The Crimson (6-0, 4-0 Ivy) continues its record-setting winning streak with the win and remain a perfect 6-0 on the year.

The Crimson swept the top three positions, winning all three matches by a score of 3-0 (Gina Kennedy, Amelia Henley and Hana Moataz). Moataz improved her record to a perfect 6-0 on the season.

Junior Hannah Craig also built on her strong start, winning 3-1 at the sixth position to earn her sixth win of the season.

Junior Maddie Chai and first-years Charlotte Orcutt and Evie Coxon all picked up wins in the match to bring the Crimson point total to eight.

Harvard Highlights

  • The first-year duo of Charlotte Orcutt and Evie Coxon move to a combined 9-3 in their first collegiate seasons.
  • Harvard has posted a combined score of 46-8 through six matches.
  • Hana Moataz won her match by a combined score of 33-13 at the third position
