Kennedy Edged by Sedky, 3-1, in National Championship

WASHINGTON D.C. – Gina Kennedy of the Harvard women's squash team was edged 3-1 by Reeham Sedky of Penn in the CSA Individual National Championship. Sedky was the top overall seed and ended Kennedy's 18-0 run this season. Sedky took the match by scores of 11-5, 8-11, 11-7 and 11-8. 

This was the second straight appearance in the National Championship for Kennedy, who took home the Ramsay Cup last year as a freshman. 

In the lower divisions, senior captain Sue Ann Yong defeated teammate Eleonore Evans to win the Holleran Cup: B North Division. The Crimson duo played four games, Yong taking the victory 11-8, 14-12, 5-11 and 11-8. This was Yong's second appearance in the Holleran Cup and first win in her four-year career.
