No. 1 Women’s Squash Stays Perfect With 8-1 Win Over No. 3 Trinity

. – The No. 1 Harvard women's squash team won its ninth consecutive match of the season, handing No. 3 Trinity an 8-1 defeat at the Murr Center Squash Courts on Wednesday evening.

Harvard (9-0, 5-0 Ivy) continued its perfect season with a dominant performance over the Bantams (13-2), rolling to a 3-0 sweep in five matches. The Crimson recorded its 32nd consecutive win dating back to the early 2014-15 season.

The Crimson won from the No. 1-6 position, including sweeps at No. 1-2 and No. 5-6. Sophomore Sabrina Sobhy and freshman Gina Kennedy earned wins at the top-two spots, while freshman Amelia Henley and junior Alyssa Mehta remained undefeated with victories at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. Sophomore Kayley Leonard and senior Katherine Tutrone posted 3-1 wins in their respective matches as well.

Harvard closed out with match with wins from sophomore Sophie Mehta at No. 8 and freshman Eleonore Evans at No. 9.

The Crimson returns to action with a trio of matches over the weekend, as it faces off with Brown, Stanford and Yale to close out the regular season. Harvard can clinch the Ivy League title outright with two victories.
