No. 1 Women's Squash Trumps No. 10 Dartmouth in Ivy League Opener

Harvard earned its 11th straight win over Dartmouth (Zach Williamson).

HANOVER, N.H. – No. 1 Harvard women's squash opened up its Ivy League slate with a 9-0 win at Dartmouth Tuesday night. The Crimson improved to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in Ivy League play.

Harvard's top six paced the way, sweeping each of its matches.

The top three of Kayley Leonard, Alyssa Mehta and Michelle Gemmell each swept their respective matches in convincing fashion, surrendering no more than six points in each game.

The middle three were equally impressive as Dileas MacGowan, Sophie MehtaSaumya Karki and Isabelle Dowling all made quick work of their opponents with 3-0 sweeps.

Caroline Monrad and Keegan Mendez each earned 3-1 wins to seal the victory for the Crimson.

Harvard will return to action on its home court Jan. 9 against Penn at 2:30 p.m.
