GREENWOOD, Ind. – Earning multiple selections for the fourth-consecutive season, Harvard women's soccer's Cammie Dopke and Taylor Nielsen have been voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team, as announced by the organization on Thursday. Harvard is the only team in its region with multiple honorees.
Dopke has appeared in 14 games with 12 starts along the Harvard back line, helping the team to eight shutouts, including four in Ivy League play. The Arcadia, California native scored her first-career goal against Brown, heading home a corner kick.
Nielsen, an All-Ivy League honorable mention selection a year ago, has appeared in 15 games with 12 starts, dishing a pair of assists in the process. The Kirkland, Washington native has three goals and four assists in her career, and has been instrumental in the team's eight shutouts from central midfield.
Harvard is 12-3 on the season, including a 5-1 mark in Ivy League play. With the all-district academic selections, both players are eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-America award, which will be announced later this month.
