PRINCETON, N.J. – After a tremendous week that included a pair of shutout victories, first-year Angela Caloia of the Harvard women's soccer team has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week.
Caloia tallied five points as Harvard posted shutout wins over Quinnipiac (3-0) and Northwestern (2-0). Active in each of her appearances, she extended her point streak to three games to open her career, posting a goal and an assist against the Bobcats and dishing two assists against Northwestern. Caloia tallied at least two points in every game, and leads the Crimson with seven this season.
The weekly honor is the first of Caloia's career. Harvard continues play this week with home contests on ESPN+ against Massachusetts Tuesday and San Francisco Friday.
