  • Harvard Athletics and NESN Announce Three-Game Fall Slate
    August 13, 2018
    Harvard Athletics and NESN have announced an extended agreement that will see three home events broadcast on the network this fall. The package opens with women’s soccer hosting Maine Sept. 5, continues when men’s soccer welcomes UMass Lowell the following day, and concludes with football’s bout against Columbia Nov. 3.

    Earning the chance to compete in her second European Championships, incoming freshman Lara Schenk was named to the U-19 national team for Germany for the 2018 European Championships in Switzerland from July 14-31.
  • Hirst, Schenk Spend Time in National Team Camps

    Earning the honor of training at the national team level before beginning their first year on campus, incoming freshmen Sophie Hirst and Lara Schenk of the women’s soccer team spent time in the U-18 United States national team camp and the U-19 Germany national team camp, respectively.

  • Purce '17 Called Up To United States National Team

    Earning the call to the United States Women's National Soccer team (USWNT) for the second time, former Harvard women's soccer standout and current Portland Thorns player Margaret Purce '17 has been selected to the national team for a pair of friendlies against China PR. The games are set for Thursday, June 7 in Sandy, Utah and Tuesday, June 12 in Cleveland, Ohio. The games will be broadcast on FS1 and ESPN2, respectively.

    Adding one of the top-ranked recruiting classes in the country to a talented program, Harvard women’s soccer has announced its nine member class of 2022: Jordan Di Verniero, Sophie Hirst, Taylor Nielsen, Courtney Rabb, Elizabeth Saoud, Lara Schenk, Samantha Schmitz, Trinity Thomas and Jillian Wachira.
