Purce ’17 Voted Boston Breakers Rookie of the Year

BOSTON – 2017 was a year filled with accolades for former Harvard women's soccer forward Margaret Purce '17, and she adds to the list after being voted the 2017 Boston Breakers Rookie of the Year.

Purce, who was a two-time All-American and three-time Ivy League champion at Harvard, appeared in 22 games with 13 starts during her debut season, scoring one goal while dishing two assists. Additionally, Purce earned a call-up to the United States Senior national team for the 2017 Tournament of Nations in July. The call-up was the first for a Harvard alumna to the U.S. national team.
