The keeper's debut came against Liverpool (Gil Talbot).

WIDNES, United Kingdom – Earning the start between the posts on opening day for Everton in England's top professional league, former Harvard goalkeeper Lizzie Durack '17 made nine saves in her debut against Liverpool. Durack is the second Crimson player from the class of 2017 to appear professionally, and nine saves was her career-high during her tenure in Cambridge.

Durack tallied 14 shutouts as the Harvard goalkeeper while helping the Crimson to three Ivy League championships over four years. The Sydney, Australia native, who is in the England national team pool, was a two-time All-Ivy League honoree, including a second-team selection in 2015.

The goalkeeper joined classmate Margaret Purce '17 in signing professional deals over the summer. Harvard, meanwhile, holds a 6-3 record entering Ancient Eight action.
