Zlatic ’17 Competes for United States in World University Games

Zlatic scored once in a win over Chinese Taipei (Gil Talbot).

TAIPEI, Taiwan – Competing internationally following her Harvard career, former women's soccer forward Karly Zlatic '17 recently finished competition for the United States at the 2017 World University Games.

Scoring one goal, Zlatic helped the United States to a 4-2 record in the tournament, which was good for fifth place. The La Jolla, California native opened the scoring against the hosts, Chinese Taipei, ripping a brilliant 20-yard volley into the back of the net in the first minute of action. Zlatic saw action in all six games in the tournament.

Zlatic finished her Harvard career with seven goals and three assists, including three scores as a senior. She helped guide the Crimson to three Ivy League titles.
