Purce Wins Second-Straight Ivy League Player of the Week Award

Purce is sixth all-time on the Harvard career goals list (Penny Ashford).

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the second consecutive week, Harvard women's soccer's Margaret Purce has been recognized as the league's top weekly performer. The Ivy League announced Purce as the Co-Player of the Week on Monday.

Purce tallied four points on the week, scoring goals against Boston University and Cornell. Purce has totaled a team-best seven goals on the season, including five in the past three games, and sits sixth on Harvard's all-time goals list with 27.

Harvard moved is first in the Ivy League with a 3-0 record, and hosts Brown on Saturday, Oct. 17. The 1 p.m. kickoff can be seen live on the Ivy League Digital Network
