CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After scoring a goal and assisting on the game-winning tally in Crimson’s 2-1 victory over Connecticut Sunday, freshman midfielder Lauren Urke of the Harvard women’s soccer team has been named the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week, the conference announced.

Urke, a native of Medina, Minn., opened the scoring against the Huskies with a goal only 85 seconds into the contest, giving the Crimson an early 1-0 lead. With the game tied, 1-1, in the 55th minute, Urke made a cross pass to teammate Alexandra Conigliaro for the game-winning score at 54:56.
Harvard has now won three straight games and is off to its best start (3-1) since the 2001 season. The Crimson is back in action Wednesday evening, as Harvard visits local rival Boston University for a non-conference game at 7 p.m.
