CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Katherine Sheeleigh netted the game-winning goal Friday to give the Crimson a victory over Rhode Island. The goal came just 38-seconds after URI had knotted the game at one. Sheeleigh dribbled the ball into URI territory and fired a shot that found the back of the net to swing the momentum back in Harvard’s favor. Due to Sheeleigh’s goal, Harvard went 1-1-0 this week.
Sheeleigh, a senior co-captain, currently leads the team with six points this season, two assists and two goals, both of which were game-winners. She has started four games this season and also leads the team in shots taken with 23.
