STANFORD, Calif. – Harvard wrestling traveled to the West Coast and dropped dual matches to 22nd-ranked Utah Valley and Stanford. The Crimson was on the wrong end of a 27-16 decision to the Wolverines and came up short vs. the Cardinal, 26-12.

The highlight of the trip came in the second match of day when California native Joshua Kim defeated No. 20 Paul Fox of Stanford by decision, 8-7. The 165-pound first-year picked up his 13th victory of the season with the performance. Cliffton Wang, meanwhile, was victorious at 184 pounds, earning a 6-0 decision over Colbey Harlan.

In the morning match against the nationally ranked Wolverines, Harvard won four times and was jumpstarted by a Nolan Hellickson win at 125 pounds. The senior defeated Josh Jensen by technical fall at the 4:14 mark, 16-0. Hunter Ladnier also won by technical fall, 18-2 (5:35), in his clash with Matthew Ontiveros at 157 pounds. The victory was the junior's fifth in his last six outings.

Brock Wilson (149 pounds) and Leonardo Tarantino (174) were also triumphant in their respective matches against Utah Valley. Both won by decision.
