Freshman Jennifer VanderMeulen was named to the WomensLacrosse.com honor roll for her performance in last week’s season opening victory over Massachusetts.
The rookie attacker scored four goals and contributed one assists in Harvard’s season opening 10-8 win over Massachusetts. VanderMeulen put four of her five shots in the net and was a perfect 2-for-2 in free position goals. She won two draw controls, picked up a ground ball and caused a turnover in her collegiate debut.
VanderMeulen was also named to the Ivy League honor roll.
The Crimson travels to John Hopkins Saturday at 1 p.m., for its second game of the season. Harvard (1-0) meets the Blue Jays (1-1) for only the second time in program history.
