BOSTON - Following a stellar career between the pipes, Brianna Laing has signed with the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League, as announced on Monday.
Laing posted a 22-8-1 record during her four seasons in Crimson, posting a 1.66 goals-against average and .935 save percentage over nearly 2000 minutes in the net. The Marblehead, Massachusetts native tallied four wins as a senior, and made a career-best 36 saves against Boston University in November. Laing was a part of nine shutouts for Harvard, and is a perennial ECAC Hockey All-Academic selection.
Laing joins an elite group of former Crimson skaters playing professionally. In 2016-17, seven players competed in either the NWHL or CWHL, with additional skaters participating in Europe. The Boston Pride posted a league best 16-1 record last season, but fell to the Buffalo Beauts in the Isobel Cup final.
