Dooley Elected to Beanpot Hall of Fame

Dooley won three Beanpots as Harvard's coach (Harvard Athletics).

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – The women's Beanpot has announced three additions to the Beanpot Hall of Fame, including former Harvard head coach John Dooley. Also earning the honor are Meghan Fardelmann (Boston College) and Jessica Wagner (Northeastern).

Dooley was Harvard's head coach from 1981-1994, where we went 162-115-1 overall with three Beanpot championships. Dooley coached in 27 Beanpot games, where his teams scored an impressive 123 goals with a 15-12 record. Three of Dooley's players rank in the top-20 in Beanpot career scoring and in the top-10 in Harvard history.

Dooley is the ninth Harvard affiliate to earn induction into the Hall of Fame, and the first coach. Harvard plays Northeastern to open the Beanpot Jan. 31 at 8 p.m., where Dooley will be honored in a pre-game ceremony.
