CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior Harvard women's hockey goaltender Emerance Maschmeyer has been named the ECAC Goaltender of the Month, the conference announced Wednesday, earning the award for the third time in her career.

Maschmeyer compiled a 6-1 record in the month of January, after going 2-0 in December. The Bruderheim, Alberta native led the Crimson to victories in a bevy of ECAC contests, including crucial wins over then-No. 9/10 Cornell and No. 5/5 Quinnipiac.

Maschmeyer padded away 145 shots, yielding just seven goals in her seven appearances. She played an integral role in the shutout of the Big Red on Jan. 24, making 22 saves, before turning around to stop 26 shots in the win over QU the next weekend.

The Crimson, coming off a dominating performance in the Beanpot semifinals, remains at Bright-Landry Hockey Center this weekend for two league games with Yale and Brown.
