CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Returning to the course following a four-tournament campaign in the fall, Harvard women's golf has announced its 2019 spring schedule.
The Crimson hosts the Harvard Invitational March 30-31 to open 2019 at Orange County National in Winter Garden, Florida. The Crimson won its home tournament a year ago in Osprey, Florida. Harvard continues at Matchplay Madness at Fox Hollow April 6-7, hosted by Princeton.
The Ivy League Golf Championships are scheduled for April 19-21 in Ringoes, New Jersey at The Ridge at Back Brook. The NCAA regional championships, which hosts the top Ivy team and qualified individuals, will be held May 6-8 around the country, while Arkansas hosts the 2019 NCAA championships at The Blessings Golf Club May 17-22.
First-year Elizabeth Wang posted a 71.3 average in the fall, while classmate Anina Ku was close behind at 73.6. Harvard won five consecutive Ivy League golf titles from 2012-16, while placing second in each of the last two seasons. Senior captain Michelle Xie will look to become the Ivy League's fourth two-time individual champion, and the first in Harvard history.
