  • Belinda Hu Named Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Year

    Following four top-ten finishes in seven tournaments and a fifth-place finish at the Ivy League Championship, Harvard women’s golf freshman Belinda Hu was voted the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Year by the seven league coaches. Hu shares the honor with Brown’s Brittany Park, who tied for third at the conference tournament.
  • Michelle Xie Named Ivy League Individual Champion

    JACKSON, N.J. – Harvard women’s golf junior Michelle Xie was crowned the Ivy League individual champion this afternoon at Metedeconk Golf Club in Jackson, N.J. The Palo Alto, Calif. native carded rounds of 77-71-72 to best Annabelle Chang of Princeton by four strokes. While Xie celebrated an individual accomplishment, the team as a whole suffered a disappointing end to the season, narrowly missing out on the league title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament when Princeton bested it in a playoff round to win the tournament.
  • Women’s Golf in Second After Day One of Ivy Championships

    JACKSON, N.J. – After the first of three rounds at the Ivy League Championships, the Harvard women’s golf team earned its way to second, with a combined score of 313, plus-25. Belinda Hu and Michelle Xie led the charge, carding rounds of 76 and 77 that was good for second and fourth respectively. Harvard and Brown were the only schools to have two individuals in the top-10 in the opening round.
  • Women’s Golf Maintains No. 2 Rank After Day Two of Ivy Championships

    The Harvard women’s golf team holds onto second place after two of three rounds at the Ivy League Championships. The team had a banner day, dropping its first round score by nine strokes. Michelle Xie commanded the course today, carding a 71, good for one-under par and the only player in the tournament field to do so. With the stellar performance, Xie catapulted herself to the top of the individual tournament.
  • Women’s Golf Looks to Take Back Ivy Title

    The Harvard women’s golf team will look to take back its seat at the top of the Ivy League this weekend at the conference championship tournament. After winning the tournament for five consecutive years from 2012-16, the program took a step back last season finishing second, but will enter the 2018 edition as the overall favorite of the seven Ivy programs. The teams will play three days, one round per day, from Friday through Sunday at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, N.J.
  • Women’s Golf Finishes Strong, Takes First Place at Harvard Invitational

    After besting its score by ten strokes from round one to round two and another eight strokes from round two to round three, the Harvard women’s golf team won its host tournament at the Oaks Club in Sarasota, Fla. on Sunday afternoon. The Crimson posted a combined score of 902, plus-38, beating out Delaware by just three strokes.
  • Ivy League Enhances Exposure, Fan Experience with Long-Term ESPN Agreement

    The Ivy League and ESPN have agreed to a long-term relationship to showcase Ivy League events through a variety of ESPN platforms, including at least 24 events annually on ESPN’s linear networks and more than 1,100 annually on ESPN+. This will include coverage for all 42 Harvard varsity programs.
  • Women’s Golf Heads South to Host Harvard Invitational

    The Harvard women’s golf team will head south to Sarasota, Fla. to host the annual Harvard Invitational at The Oaks Club. The tournament will run April 7-8 and will be the final tune-up for the Crimson before Ivy League Championships set for April 20-22.
  • Women’s Golf Completes Play at Clemson

    In its first outing of the spring season, the Harvard women’s golf team carded a combined score of 913, 49 over par, at the Clemson Invitational this past weekend. The Crimson lowered its score each round, posting rounds of 307, 305 and 301. Harvard was also competing against 11 ranked opponents at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. In her first outing of the 2017-18 season, sophomore Chloe Belle Hooton set a new career low round of 73 on the third day of competition.
  • Women’s Golf Treks to Tigertown for Spring Opener

    The Harvard women’s golf team heads to Clemson, South Carolina to open the 2018 spring season this weekend. The Crimson will be joined by 12 other teams in Clemson Invitational and live results will be available on Golfstat for all three rounds. The women will play one round each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 23-25.

It was a whirlwind of problem sets, practices, and meeting new people. Everything was up in the air, susceptible to change.

    The Harvard women’s golf team wrapped up the fall season with a third-place finish at the Delaware Invitational. The team scored rounds of 299-301-304 and finished plus 40.
  • Women’s Golf Looks to Finish the Fall Season Strong at Delaware

    The Harvard women’s golf team is set to close out the fall season this weekend at the Delaware Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club and will consist of two rounds on Saturday, Oct. 21 and another round Sunday, Oct. 22. Harvard will be playing for a hat trick of tournament titles, as the Crimson have finished in first place each of the last two years at the event.
  • Women’s Golf to Compete at Yale

    The Harvard women’s golf team returns to action this weekend at Yale’s Women’s Intercollegiate Tournament in New Haven, Conn. The tournament will run Friday through Sunday, the players hitting one round per day. The Crimson has competed at this tournament each of the last three seasons, taking second in 2014, sixth in 2015 and fourth in 2016.
  • Women’s Golf Surges to Third at Yale Women’s Intercollegiate

    After a slow start in round one, the Harvard women’s golf team surged to a third-place overall finish at the Yale Women’s Intercollegiate Tournament. Harvard’s opportunity to climb higher was cut short with the final round of the tournament being cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • Women’s Golf Takes First Among Ivies, Second Overall at Princeton Invitational

    The Harvard women’s golf team posted another successful weekend, placing first among five Ivy League competitors and second overall at the Princeton Invitational. Harvard completed three rounds with a score of 919, plus 55. Anna Zhou again lead the Crimson with her second top 10 finish of the season, tying for sixth overall (76-75-75, +10).
  • Women’s Golf Takes On Ivy League at Princeton Invitational

    The Harvard women’s golf team continues its season this Saturday and Sunday at the Princeton Invitational at the Springdale Golf Club. The 10-team tournament will include six of the seven Ivy League programs, affording Harvard the opportunity to get an early look at its competition for championships in April. The women will play two rounds on Saturday and will continue action with the final round on Sunday.
  • Women’s Golf Posts Strong Performances at Nittany Lion Invitational

    The Harvard women’s golf team completed play at the Nittany Lion Invitational today, earning a seventh-place finish (899, +35) in its first tournament of the season. Anna Zhou led the team, tying for fourth in the individual competition with round scores of 73, 70 and 72 on Penn State’s par 72 Blue Course.

    The Harvard women’s golf team is slated to open the 2017-18 season this Saturday and Sunday at the Nittany Lion Invitational hosted by Penn State in State Park, Pa. The tournament will be composed of two rounds of 18 holes on Saturday and an additional 18 holes on Sunday.
