Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Rain-Shortened Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Harvard women's golf team finished fourth of 19 teams at the 2016 Yale Women's Invitational over the weekend.

The Crimson shot 295 on day one, dropping two shots on day two to finished plus-20 for the weekend, three shots behind Yale and one ahead of Dartmouth. The Crimson totaled a score of 588. Columbia won the event with a score of 581. 

Sophomore Anna Zhou paced Harvard, finishing third with a score of 68 to lead the field on day one, following with a 70 for a four-under weekend. Classmate Michelle Xie tied for 18th with a total score of 146 (plus-four), shooting 74, 72 on days one and two, respectively. Senior Anne Cheng tied for No. 38 with a plus-nine weekend (151, 74-77).  

The Crimson is back in action Oct. 22-23 for the Delaware Invitational.
