COLUMBUS, Ohio - Five members of the Harvard women's fencing team competed in the USA Fencing National Championships and July Challenge over the weekend.
In the junior championship, rising sophomore Elizabeth Tartakovsky finished second in the saber class while incoming first-year Maria Theodore placed 22nd. Incoming first-year Karina Wang finished tied for 29th in the foil class.
In the senior championship, Tartakovsky finished third and Theodore 13th in the saber division. Rising junior Saanchi Kukadia placed 23rd in the epee competition.
Wang and rising junior Cindy Gao competed in the senior championship as well.
