No. 9 Women’s Fencing Captures 10th-Straight Beanpot Victory

This marks the 10th-straight Beanpot win for the women's team (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 9 Harvard women's fencing team earned its 10th Beanpot title Wednesday night at Boston College over Brandeis, MIT and host Boston College. Harvard has secured the Beanpot Trophy every year since the inception of the tournament in 2007.

The Crimson opened the competition with a 23-4 win over MIT, and continued with a 21-6 triumph over Brandeis. The final match pitted the Crimson against Boston College for the tournament championship.  Harvard went on to a 16-11 victory over the Eagles.
