CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sarah Baker, the Head Coach of Radcliffe Lightweight Crew, recently announced the 2020 schedule. The slate features seven regattas, three of which will be contested on the Charles River.
The Black and White will open the spring season on March 28-29, welcoming Georgetown and Bates to Cambridge. Radcliffe will then spend the next two weeks in New Jersey, competing against Princeton and racing for the Knecht Cup. Princeton will host its regatta on Lake Carnegie while the Knecht Cup will be contested on the Cooper River.
Following the pair of weekends in New Jersey, the Black and White will return home to host the Beanpot/Muri Cup on the Charles. Eastern Sprints will be held on May 3 this season and returns to Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. Radcliffe will close out the 2020 spring season at IRA National Championships from May 29-31 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor Township, N.J.
