CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard-Radcliffe heavyweight crew team finished the competitive 54th Head of the Charles Regatta today, Oct. 21. On Sunday afternoon, the Black and White claimed a 12th-place finish in the championship eight race.
Coxed by Katherine Paglione, Radcliffe clocked a competitive 17:46.122 to finished 12th overall and ninth among collegiate teams. Stanford and California finished as the top-two collegiate teams in the race, while Princeton and Yale followed next.
Racing in the championship four event, the Black and White placed 11th overall. Jenni Li coxed Radcliffe to a time of 21:00.074.
Radcliffe's Club 8+ boat kicked off competiton on Saturday, as the Black and White's B boat earned a 16th-place finish. Coxed by Paige Coolidge, Radcliffe clocked in at 17:49.611.
