No. 8 Brown
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 16 Radcliffe heavyweight crew will host No. 8 Brown Saturday. The race will take place on the Charles River and is the lone home regatta of the season for the Black and White.
The race will be streamed live on the Ivy League Network with Bill Spaulding on the call.

LAST TIME OUT
Radcliffe kicked off the season in New Jersey last Saturday, facing Michigan State and Ohio State as part of the Ivy League/ Big Ten Double Duels. Against the Spartans, the Black and White took four of five races, highlighted by wins from the top two varsity eight and four boats. Radcliffe finished runner-up in each race versus Ohio State.
The Bears opened the season last weekend against Princeton and Michigan in New Jersey. Brown won the second and third varsity eight races, but placed third in the varsity eight event.
Harvard last defeated Brown April 1, 2006. Since then, the Bears have 10 consecutive victories.

In her 32nd season of guiding the Harvard-Radcliffe heavyweight crews in 2017-18, head coach Liz O'Leary owns a 204-112 career dual record with 16 appearances in the NCAA Championship, including the 2003 title and a 2005 bronze medal finish.
