CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard-Radcliffe crew finished up competition at the Head of the Charles Sunday, claiming 11th in the championship eight race among collegiate crews.
Racing in bright and sunny conditions, the Radcliffe A posted a finishing time of 15:42.537 to take 16th place overall and 11th among collegiate crews. Washington and Stanford finished as the top two collegiate teams in the event. The Radcliffe C punched the clock in 16:54.919.
Radcliffe's Club 8+ boat found its success during Saturday's racing. The Black and White sped its way to a time of 16:27.044, tops in the category. Coxed by Kaitlyn Felsheim and stroked by Hannah Osborn, Radcliffe beat Yale by nearly 13 seconds for the victory. The win was just the second for Radcliffe in the event with the other coming in 2013.
The Radcliffe fours were also in action Sunday, finishing seventh in a competitive field with a time of 18:10.130. Brown won the event in 17:08.207.
